Isaiah 5:13 – "Therefore My people go into exile because they lack knowledge [of GOD]; And their honorable men are famished, and their common people are parched with thirst."
In continuation of this series, I believe that it is VITALLY important to establish a good, solid foundation. The knowledge of GOD and HIS heart toward you IS that foundation.
The enemy has used a VERY deceptive phrase that has enslaved the minds of so many of God’s people. That phrase is “Ignorance is bliss”. The truth is that ignorance can kill...it can kill your dreams, goals and your destiny. As we see in Isaiah 5:13 ignorance is not prejudiced. Ignorance does not care about your race, gender, social or economic status. If ignorance is embraced, it will rob, enslave, and destroy.
But I encourage you to take on the belt of truth.
In John 10:10 (NLT), Jesus said, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
It is my prayer that the following Scriptures initiates a paradigm shift and causes you to be catapulted into the destiny of blessings that God desires for you.
God’s Heart Toward You
Because of Jesus completed the work on the cross, “God has already qualified you to partake of the inheritance of the saints. (Colossians 1:12)
Ephesians 1:19-21 –“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.
Ephesians 2:6 –“For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
Look where Jesus is seated! And YOU are seated WITH HIM!!!! Far above race-based stereo types, far above gender inequality. YOU are seated WITH Christ in a place of HONOR!
Knowing WHO’S you are and your POSITION is the power that enables you to boldly fulfill God’s command on your life as a beautiful black professional woman in the marketplace.
Practical application:
In order to truly change your life, you simply must change your mind. Renew your entire existence with the truth of God’s word.
Romans 12:2 says be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Don’t let the simplicity of God instructions throw you off the course. All too often we tend to make things difficult. But Jesus said that His yoke is easy and his burden is light….and 1 Corinthians 1:27 says that God chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
Statistics state that it take 21 days to form a habit. Take 21 days and be intentional about meditating on the above Scriptures. Set aside a couple of moments 3 times a day to say the Scriptures out loud slowly and really think about them and ask the LORD to reveal to you how you can absolutely shift into thriving professional life as black woman in the marketplace.
May the LORD richly bless and empower you as you embrace the truth of His word and walk boldly into your destiny!
