Black Beauty ~ How To Thrive In The Marketplace As The Beautiful Black Professional Woman that God H

Time is certainly flying by so quickly.  We’re in the 2nd half of January 2019, and I pray that you are blessed and experiencing God’s incredible favor.  Today’s post is regarding:

“How To Build Alliances with Decision Makers”

As I cover this particular topic, I’ll be sharing some generalized solutions to help you get started.  The reason being: With God, "one size does not necessarily fit all."  Having that active relationship with God and relying on His wisdom and Word will ALWAYS cause you to experience the best in all areas of life, including business.  As you’re considering the pursuit of a strategic alliance, here are 8 steps to help you achieve that goal.

  1. Consult with God ~  Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”  John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth, He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard.  He will tell you about the future.”  Psalm 23:3 tells us that "He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”  Spend time with the Lord first. Ask him who you should pursue a strategic alliance with, sit quietly with pen and paper, and write what comes to mind.

  2. Take Confidence in that You do Hear the Lord ~  John 10:27-28 tells us that, "My sheep hear my voice and I know them."  God wants to tell you more than you want to hear.

  3. Following the Peace ~ Peace about your decisions, answers and ideas will help confirm the Lord’s leading.

  4. Get Wisdom, Understanding & Knowledge ~ Proverbs 4:5-9 commands us to be wise, get knowledge and understanding.  Knowing your potential partner and how your alliance will benefit you and them is key.

  5.  Get a Vision for Your Alliance ~  Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”  If you are aiming for nothing, you will hit it every time.  So get specifically clear on your objectives, your expectations, and the values you each will bring to the alliance.

  6. Be Clear in Communicating ~ Make clear the value your company will bring to the alliance.

  7. Clearly State all Possible Benefits ~  Also state all possible risks.  Clearly state risk-management strategies.

  8. Write it Down ~  Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, so that he may run who reads it.”

God so desires for you to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers (3 John 2)…but His desire is to lead the way, go before you and clearing the straightest best path, and to walk with you in fellowship as you live your best life!

I pray that you are blessed and inspired to rely on God’s wisdom to go before you with divine strategy, blessings, and favor as you pursue and build strategic alliances that will set you apart and bring glory and honor to God!
