Black Beauty Part 8 ~ How Do You Build And Establish Positive Relationships To Enhance Job Performan

In continuation of the Series, How To Thrive In The Marketplace As The Beautiful Black Professional Woman that God Has Called You To Be," I will focus on the second part of the diversity issue challenges that I believe coincide as far as applying the Word of God to overcome and experience victory.

Here's that challenge:

How do you build and establish positive relationships to enhance job performance using cultural backgrounds?

THIS IS ESPECIALLY FOR LEADERS

  1. Be led by the Holy Spirit- Consult with God (Psalm 143:10, 1 Samuel 30:8). Every Biblical and practical solution mentioned is dependent upon your active and growing relationship with the Lord. There are principles that can be applied by everyone, but God is relational, and He interacts uniquely with each and every one of us, so it is not ‘one-size-fits-all’

  2. Don’t consider the outward appearance, follow God’s example and consider the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). God wants you to succeed. Since promotion comes only from the Lord, He is the one who can lead you in the best growth track for your company. So trusting in God’s wisdom is the best strategy regarding strengthening diversity programs.

  3. Pray- “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16). “Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.” Asking the Lord to bring the right candidates for the position and He will do it.

  4. Invest- Matthew 5:13-16 talks about being salt and light in the world. As leaders, I believe that investing in your employees and equipping them with education, guidance and respect should be an automatic given. The objective of having a thriving company should be the motivating factor.

How do you build and establish positive relationships to enhance job performance using cultural backgrounds?

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near". (Hebrews 10:24-25)

From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.( Ephesians 4:16)

For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field. God's building. (1 Corinthians 3:9)

And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:14-22).

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9).

Ultimately we as believers are in this world to help further the Kingdom of God. The work place is an incredible way to provide eternal impact. So be that light and reach out. Connect with people allowing God to shine through you, beautiful, black, professional woman. The Bible tells us that it’s the kindness that leads us to repentance. Never underestimate allowing the love and light of God shining through you to inspire enhanced job performance and positive relationships!

As always I pray that you are blessed by this post , and that you will share with me your testimonies of God's amazing miracles and works on your behalf in the marketplace. May you be blessed empowered, and strengthened!
